![]() ![]() After the first time trying it he told me to remove the sale ads, that he was keeping the pellet grill now thanks to the Smoke Daddy smoke generator. ![]() As soon as it arrived my husband drilled a hole in this brand new pellet grill and installed your smoke generator. I put it online and was going to lose alot of money!! I started doing research to see if there was anything else that we could do to make this pellet grill give us that deep smokey flavor and came across your smoke generator. After contacting the manufacturer of the pellet grill they recommended changing pellets which we did and still didn't get the smoke flavor we were hoping for so my husband said sell it. Being used to the strong smoke flavor with the offset grill we were terribly disappointed the first time we cooked on it. We have a huge offset smoker that we would fire up for parties when friends would come over however it's too big of a grill to fire up for just 2 people hence the purchase of the pellet grill. I purchased a pellet grill with all the accessories and 80 lbs of pellets for my husband for Christmas. Your smoke generator saved me about $2100. I will be buying all my future replacement parts from smoke daddy. The way the holes are shaped and placed helps with cleaner burned pellets and less ash build up in bottom of pot. PID controller is worth every penny!!!!! The burn pot is of better quality as well. It also uses way less pellets and can reach 500 degrees. The smell of the pellets burning/smoking is so much better. ![]() Gets to temp super-fast and holds within +/- 5 degrees. This grill is way better than it has ever been. First fire up and WOW! This is truely a PID controller not a timed despenser. The install was very striaght forward for the pid controller. Called and talked with a gentleman and he seems very genuine, so I Bought the PID controller and a spare burner pot. The prob did help it get better temps, but the swing was 50+ degrees. It was suggested to replace the temp prob. It has been a great grill, I have only replaced the burner pot about 2 year ago. We prefer a mild smoke flavor and typically use pecan wood or cherry wood.I was having temp issues with my 7 year old Traeger pro22. These column smokers are well built and simple to clean and maintain. ![]() We use a Weber Smokey Mountain as our smoker of choice.
